The 50th Abashiri Okhotsk Drift Ice Festival 2015 is held in Abashiri Shokofuto port special venue from 7 – 11 February 2015. The main snow statue depicts the myth which derives from Kioe Yonemura’s story about the people of Okhotsk, he is a barber shop owner and a local historian. There are some events, projection mapping and fireworks and also special local foods.
