Ishiyama Open Space is located in the southern area of Sapporo. It takes 30 minutes from Sapporo station by car.

The area was the diggings for soft rock called ‘Sapporo soft rock'(札幌軟石)  in the past. Now no digging here. Ishiyama Open Space is along the route to lake Shikotsuko.

You might feel it wild and artificial, something mystical. It is also a nice place for Autumn leaves.
