Hina Doll’s festival is held on March 3 every year in Japan. This is the day for girls. The event shows several kinds of Hina doll which were passed through the generations and some were donated by citizens.
You can take a look these Hina dolls at many shops and facilities in Otaru city. Many concerts and events will be held where you may get some prizes.

If you walk around Otaru Canal and Kitaichi Glass, we recommend going to Tanaka Sake Brewery Kikkogura or Main branch. Tanaka Sake Brewery is one the best sake maker in Hokkaido. Their factory tour is very interesting and available from 9:00 – 17:30.
